engines that run on water

I have been eagerly awaiting the year 2010 so I can get one of the new PHEVs or fully electric or one of the many other extremely fuel efficient vehicles being slated for release in 2010.  However, I don’t know if my current vehicle is going to last quite that long, and I would really like something more fuel efficient right now.  That’s why I think I’m going to give the process of converting my internal combustion engine to a water powered engine a good ol’ college try.  I’m not particularly handy with a wrench and I have no idea what I’m doing under the hood of my car – seriously I leave it closed unless weird noises or smoke is coming out of that thing and leave the checking under the hood to the pros.
