A merger prompts organizational change strategies

Have you ever had your work thrown into chaos by a merger? The company that I work for was recently taken over by a much larger organization. This has resulted in a change in work structure to accommodate organizational change strategies. My current position has evolved into new areas of development. In some respect this is a welcome change. In another, it is going to take some time to get into the grove and to cover all the bases required to do my new position effectively. The new pay structure is an added bonus because if I accomplish my objectives I will receive much larger compensation for my efforts.
