Is lost wax casting the best method?

I need to get a platinum casting done, and I am wondering if lost wax casting is the best method for this, or if there is some other way to do it that is better. The only way I really know anything about is lost wax casting, but I have never used it for platinum, only for other less expensive metals. I am worried that if I try to do the platinum casting myself I might mess it up, so I was wondering if there was anyone who I could hire to do this for me. Does anyone have a recommendation for a company?
