What does a rated life insurance policy mean?
I just recently applied for term life insurance through an online life insurance agency. My customer service rep told me that I was rated! So I asked him what does a rated life insurance policy mean anyway? I got this lame answer that something to do with my health and that my premiums will be higher than originally applied for about twice. He told me because of HIPPA laws he could not tell me why I was rated and my premiums are higher and that I would have to speak to my Doctor about my current health situation.
