Giving Wife a Set Spending Limit
My wife cannot be trusted with money. She likes to shop, and when she does, she spends a fortune. We are in a lot of debt because of this. I actually had to take away her credit cards last month. That was a tough wake-up call for her. Instead of having to pay back a creditor, I decided to load a prepaid mastercard with a specific amount of money each month. It will be her allowance, and she can spend it how she pleases.
