Workshop Discusses Lump Sum Payouts
There was a financial workshop being offered through the community education program. The workshop was being put on by an investment firm and a local company that helps retirees plan their future. I signed up for the workshop and gathered all of my financial information like they suggested. The workshop was full and very informative. We learned about Lump Sum Payouts and annuities. Each investment advisor took two people, looked through our financial information and gave his opinion on which type of retirement distribution he thought we should take. For the ten dollars I paid, I sure received a lot of new, wonderful financial knowledge.
