Bacteria Resistant to Drugs Found in Hospitals

Canadian Pharmacy, Canada Pharmacy, Canada Drugs, Canada Pharmacy Online

Some recent research brings to light the fact that at least half of the hospital rooms in the United States are infected with various drug resistant strains of bacteria and that the strains are present on everything from the handles of drawers to bed rails to touch pads and that those areas are particularly good at allowing the bacteria to live for a long time.  This is something that could be a problem for hospitals and any future patients who come into contact with the hospital rooms if there aren’t some changes made to the cleaning procedures.  Apparently, current normal procedures are unable to get rid of any of the top ten germs that are responsible for infections commonly acquired when someone is receiving healthcare in a facility.

When testing various surfaces around places like hospitals, researchers are finding that the bacteria are often living in areas that accommodate their lifespan easier and allow them to live longer.  The recent study that found all of the bacteria was present in at least one area of the rooms that were tested.  The team that looked at all of the surfaces in the rooms of places like hospitals tested many areas including places like doorknobs and the trays and the floor.  Almost half of those rooms showed evidence of drug resistant bacteria.

Unfortunately, some of the most often handled areas of the room’s were often contaminated and that these infections could easily spread if cleaning procedures were changed.  Drug resistant bugs have been known to not respond to medicines available at the pharmacy or a Canadian pharmacy online and this has meant that people have had to say in the hospital much longer do to a bug they actually caught while being treated.
