I was diagnosed with another problem
I informed the doctor at Drexel Hill Auto Accident specialty center that my lower leg was paining since I was brought to the hospital. I was saved in a serious accident few minutes ago. The doctor took an x-ray scan of my leg. He told me that there was no fracture but something seemed wrong. He asked for few more tests and came to me with the reports. He told me that I was having osteoporosis. It is a problem when bones become porous like a sponge. He prescribed me some supplementary medicines which I have to take for a long time.

I feel for you. My uncle had osteoporosis and it made his life a misery for several years. He still battles on and it certainly isn't any better now, but I think he has just learned to live with this condition over the years.

It is not uncommon to see osteoporosis in patients with serious Diabetes who are insulin dependent. Make sure to seek advice from a nutritionist who can recommend calcium lactate on a daily dosage indefinitely, then have additional tests performed to evaluate the quality of your bone.

Osteoporosis can be treated with a healthy diet and exercise regime. There is no need for drugs.

You must be careful with drugs for osteoporosis. While they do increase bone density or thickness, they do not increase the bones strength and actually can make the bone more brittle. Many still suffer from terrible fractures of the femur after years of taking Fosamax and other osteoporis meds.

Those bone drugs are a joke the just inhibit the body from breaking down bad bone so it appears on a test that you have more bone but it is of low quality and much more brittle.
