Mostly of the devotees of this raw foods are vegans because they are not eating any animal products but purely vegetables. Although they eat some raw dairy, some eggs and even some meat but they are so careful in choosing those stuffs that are fresh in order to avoid from getting sick because of some contamination from the bacteria. If you plan to have a raw  meal make sure to do some research on how to have some smooth transition to be able to maintain proper balance of nutrients. There are people who hire coaches for eating raw food or they sometimes have nutritionist to consult regarding the nutrition food.
