Family Doctor at Raleigh Internal Medicine

While we were on vacation last week, my eight year old daughter complained of a head ache and her stomach hurting. She had been out in the sun for a while and started not feeling well. I called our family doctor at Raleigh Internal Medicine and he said that it sounded as though the heat was the cause of her not feeling well. He said to keep her inside where it was cool and to hydrate her really well. Sure enough after a few hours of being cooled down and hydrated her headache and stomach ache went away. I knew it was hot out, but I didn’t realize that it would effect her that way.
