Home security in America is now a million dollar industry. Years ago, people had guard dogs and home burglar alarms systems. Now with advanced technology, we enjoy greater safety with home security video systems. And yes they work. In some some communities, they have organized neighborhood watch schemes. Residents of certain suburbs go even further, paying a security firm to patrol their area at given hours. Many people feel it advisable not to be alone at night on deserted city streets. And parents, who are naturally concerned about the welfare of their children, may take extra precautions to protect them.
