Building the coop
My husband, me, and our children built our chicken coops by hand. My husband is a carpenter, so I think the coops are build really well. The building was very well thought out. My husband started out by cutting the two-by-fours for the frame of the chicken coops. That took a couple of days. The next day, we started on the tin for the chicken coops. He had enough roofing tin left over to use that on the chicken coops. He also made a chicken wire window screen with the tin attached to cover it during the winter. The chicken coops also have runs so the chickens can go outside to get sun and fresh air.
