Decorative metal bottle tree
I was visiting a friend in the state of Kentucky one year and got bored so I went out to find some garage sales around town that I saw in the paper. What I like about garage sales in the south is you can find some really interesting things being sold their. Some old things some new but some really interesting like this Decorative metal bottle tree I found at one garage sale. The story behind it was fascinating. The slaves coming over from Africa had this belief that hanging a bottle usually blue over the limbs of a tree would ward off evil spirits!
