Mistreated toys - Mountain Bike

Every year we purchase one “high-dollar” item for our kids birthdays and then several smaller inexpensive items. My daughter has asked for a mountain bike this year, but I am leery because the bike she currently has, she leaves outside laying on the sidewalk and throw it down when she is done riding it.

My husband says that since it is a bike that it is no big deal, but mountain bikes are a lot more expensive and I’m not sure that I could stand seeing it so mistreated. I just want to know if I’m being overly sensitive or is it o-kay for me to want her to treat her bike a little better first.
