To the Tower with you

As a young man I saw movies and heard tales of people being locked up in the Tower of London, but I never really understood just where in london that was. While traveling I visited one of London hotels and had a chance to chat with a retired member of the English royalty. When I asked him about the Tower of London he informed me the the proper name for it is Her Majesty’s Royal Palace and Fortress. He told me that not it is no longer the place important prisoners are held that it is now the home of the Crown Jewels of the United Kingdom. Amazing what you can learn.
