Office Actions can be Avoided with the Right Advice
I was having a conversation with my father about a few things relating to his business. He can trust me, not only because I’m his son but also because I work for him on a contractual basis. I’m his legal advisor. Anyway, the topic of our discussion was ho to avoid any office action regarding his next product launch. He didn’t want to repeat the mess he had the last time when his partner decided to forego any legal advice. Nevertheless, after I reviewed the cause for the last action, I told him all he needed to do was make sure every officer in the company had signed the patent application. — All that college tuition has now come home so to speak.
