Reading the Book of Mormon with Children
My children are learning to love the Book of Mormon and they each have their own copy. Each night as we read it together as a family, they want a turn reading a verse or two. It has helped them develop their own testimonies of the Gospel and with their reading skills as well. Years ago we started having our son repeat what we said as we read together and we believe that reading the Book of Mormon helped him become the reading enthusiast he is today. He loves reading so much, sometimes we have to unscrew the light bulb in his room so he will go to sleep.
