traveling the interstate
Do you live in northern Illinois and want to see some northern Illinois tourist attractions on a weekend drive. Most people don’t want to make long trips without a decent attraction to end up at. The interstate system in that part of the state is – to say the least – boring. It’s kind of like traveling a ribbon of highway that never stops and rarely has decent rest stops. In Iowa you have a rest stop about every thirty five or forty miles, that’s quite antiquate unlike in Illinois where you need to carry an empty bottle in your car in case of emergencies.
