Can you handle the sports supplements?
Never really bothered with any kind of sports supplements in the past as I just thought they were over priced and not really worth bothering about. In fact it was not until recently after seeing a specialist about a recurring knee injury from running that we started to talk about the benefits of things like glucosamine, especially for aging runners like myself. Although I would not go as far as to say they are the be all and end all, I would definitely recommend certain supplements for injury recovery and general muscle tone and retention. I have started to add protein to aid my recovery as well and found that the aches and pains disappear much faster.
