Let’s face it. The world is a smaller place than it once was. Back in the 1800’s, weeks were required to get communications from one country to another. Mail had to go across the country on horseback or via trains, then when it got to a port, a ship had to then carry it across the ocean where it had to go by horseback or by train to reach its destination. Even in the 20th century, the only real changes were the inclusion of trucks and airplanes which meant it was faster, but still a time consuming process.
