Buy a Timeshare: What’s Good Buy?

There’s a so-called “good buy” upon buying a timeshare property.  Buying a timeshare is generally a good buy if you start planning your vacation well in advance of your travel dates, usually at least eleven months ahead and sometimes longer.Offered as floating weeks or ownership, most timeshares today are based upon points and as an owner you will have a priority booking window for your reservation.  But then at some point, the priority is opened up to all of other timeshare owners also.  Hence, if you tend to be a spur of the moment vacationer, timeshares are probably not going to be a good buy for you at any price. So that you won’t regret your decision, to buy a timeshare should not be done in haste.  You must also consider where you want to vacation, or if you want to go to the same place every year at the same time of year, or you like to go vacation during different seasons of the year.  After that, check out the points programs or timeshare programs that have lots of properties and let you use all of them.  Finally, after considering that timeshare is suited for your need, consider price ranges.  The timeshare that is going to be a good buy for you is one that fits your travel criteria and sells for the right price.
