Discover Medieval times at Camlann
One of the most interesting things that you can do when visiting the town of Carnation is to head to the Camlann Medieval Village. The village is a recreation of a 14th century English village, complete with people in period clothing and architecture like one would have seen in England more than 600 years ago. It is an interesting and fun place to visit, and if you are in the area, you should definitely try to check out some of the festivals they offer. When you come to the village, you can see a variety of presentations that display how life was in the 1300s. You can see how shoes were made, blacksmithing, weaving, as well as many other daily chores. At some of the festivals, you can even see knights as they battle and watch archery contests. You can eat at one of the feasts, or you can head over to the Bors Hede Inne and have a great meal while minstrels entertain you. In addition, you can shop for some medieval clothing at the Clothier’s Shoppe, or for some books at the Scribes Shoppe. Everyone who comes to the village will have a wonderful time with all there is to see and do.
