Mission time
So we found car hire picton without too much trouble, it was not far at all from the ferry terminal. We got in the car and headed south east. We were on a bit of a mission to try and make it to a town called Geraldine. After a number of hours of driving we made it to our destination. It was a very quaint little town, not a whole lot there, but we managed to find a restaurant and had a nice dinner with a glass of wine. Unfortunately we could not leave early in the morning as there was too much ice on the roads.
